On June 22, 2023, the German Football Ambassadors e.V. will launch the election for the popular audience award for the eleventh time – voting will take place online, either directly on the homepage www.fussballbotschafter.de, or at selected partners of the non-profit association.
In this year’s Women.Football.Global. exclusively female players. The following five candidates have been nominated:
Ann-Katrin Berger, Melanie Leupolz (both Chelsea FC), Dzsenifer Marozsan, Sara Däbritz (both Olympique Lyon) and Leonie Pankratz from HJK Helsinki. Online voting ends on July 16. The winners will then be announced at an award ceremony in Sydney as part of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Each award comes with prize money that goes to social causes.To this end, the existing collaboration with Common Goal as the CSR competence partner.
This year, the German Football Ambassador e.V. (www.fussballbotschafter.de) honors German coaches and players for their commitment and reputation abroad. As an intersection between sport and culture, the commitment will be further promoted, expanded and the positive image of Germany abroad further strengthened.
