The Public Award of the German Football Ambassador announces an exciting final spurt. Eleven German players who are currently active abroad have been nominated. Julian Gressel, ahead of Marc-André ter Stegen and Leroy Sané, currently leads the public voting in the “Player 2019” category.
Until 28 April, three favorites can be selected from the eleven nominees:

Participation is possible via the website and the social networks of the German Football Ambassador. Exciting prizes will also be raffled off among all participants. The eleven nominees are all about commitment on and off the pitch. The social component is also taken into account – all of the club’s awards are linked to support for social projects. In this way, it has already been possible to support football projects in 20 countries worldwide. The winner in the category “Player 2019” will be awarded together with the main and honorary winners at the award ceremony in Berlin on 15 May.
