Bernd Stange and the initiative “GERMAN FOOTBALL AMBASSADOR” supported the Singapore Cerebral Palsy Football Team with the prize money.
The project Singapore Cerebral Palsy Football Team
This project allows children in Singapore who suffer from infantile Cerebral Palsy (movement disorders) to participate in diverse activities in their everyday lives and for a period of time, to put their disability in the background. The Singapore Cerebral Palsy Football Team is a department of the Singapore Disability Sport Council and represents Singapore in numerous football tournaments.
Singapore is proud of the team
The team is also supported by the Football Association Singapore (FAS). Singapore won the match against the UAE (United Arab Emirates) 10-3 and came 3rd in the AFC Dream Asia Cerebral Palsy Tournament which was held in Abu Dhabi during 2012. The match was shown live on Abu Dhabi TV Sport Channel and was watched by a large number of viewers.
