A JOURNEY TO ROME – FOOTBALL MEETS HEARTFELT PURPOSE IN THE VATICAN

The next stop on our joint journey with the Kloppocar: Rome and the Vatican!

This past weekend, former national and Bundesliga legends like Hansi Müller, Julia Simic, Lena Goeßling, Sergio da Silva Pinto, Kevin Kuranyi, Patrick Owomoyela, Tim Wiese, Ailton, Thomas Helmer, Ivan Klasnić, Hannes Sigurðsson, Christian Nowak and – of course – our captain Matze Knop came together in the Eternal City to take part in a friendly football match against a team from the Vatican.

The final score of 5:7? Just a side note! The real focus was on a good cause: Proceeds from the match went to Kinderlachen e.V. – spreading smiles instead of just scoring goals.
