Our nominee of 2013 and head coach of the US-national team, Jürgen Klinsmann donated his prize-money for the operations in Brazil and so he became the first sponsor of the world cup campaign “Bigshoe Brazil”.

The charity organization, which regularly becomes active during big football-events, will be at the world cup in Brazil. Again, at least a hundred children are to be operated.

Our nominee of 2013 and headcoach of the US-national team, Jürgen Klinsmann donated his prize-money for the operations in Brazil and so he became the first sponsor of the world cup campaign “Bigshoe Brazil”.

Dr. Igor Wetzel, initiator of the charity campaign and dentist from Wangen im Allgäu, explained that this year, the plan to build a jungel-hospital in the north-west of Brazil, is in the center of all activities. In June 2014, doctors from the aid-campaign Interplast will be operating kids, who suffer from a cleft lip and palate. At the same time operations will happen in countries, which already have been FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship hosts.
The campaigns kick-off was made today by, among others, EU commissioner and the campaigns patron Günther Oettinger and Dr. Stefan Zoller from the Brazil Board of the federal association of German industry (BDI).
