Michael Weiss and the initiative “GERMAN FOOTBALL AMBASSADOR” supported a project of the charity CFA (Cebu Football Association) with the prize money. Various football associations and their youth departments were equipped with approximately 235 footballs which were produced in Cebu.
“Kasibulan 6-12 Grassroots Development Project”
This project is a part of the CFA (Cebu Football Association) which concentrates on social and moral values, the finding of the desired personality signs and the attaining of a better quality of life for children supported by the project. An important job is the development of the young population to become productive citizens in the future.
Football for social equity
Football is becoming more and more popular on the Philippines and children should therefore be given the possibility to play organised football and to get away from the street. The objective of the CFA programme is to show that there is fun in sports especially for ungifted children and youngsters. It also works hard on initiatives to prevent violence on the young population.
