The German Over 75 national team stands for passion, team spirit and the pure joy of football. In October 2025, the team became undefeated world champions in Japan and has since shown in an impressive way that sporting ambition, community and enthusiasm are not a question of age.

With their project “World Champions of the Heart”, the team raises awareness for the importance of movement, togetherness and vitality in later life. The players are role models for many generations and prove that football can connect people throughout their lives.
The mission is supported by many well known names from German football. Patrons include Pierre Littbarski, Horst Hrubesch, Wolfgang Overath, Sepp Maier and former FIFA referee Bernd Heynemann. They are all committed to giving senior football greater visibility and to bringing the impressive story of the Over 75 national team to a wider audience.
The sticker album complements this mission in a special way. Across 84 stickers, it presents the national players, their journey to the World Cup and further highlights of the project. The result is an emotional keepsake that carries the enthusiasm for this extraordinary team forward while also supporting a good cause.
The proceeds go towards the travel fund of the Over 75 national team and also support the German Diabetes Aid. In this way, every contribution helps make the team’s sporting goals possible while strengthening important social topics such as health, movement and active ageing.
The German Football Ambassador association also supports the “World Champions of the Heart” mission and contributes through its network to increasing the international visibility of the Over 75 world champions. This commitment fits perfectly with the idea of making football visible as a unifying force across borders, generations and stages of life.
The initiative is made possible together with strong partners such as STICKERSTARS, Krombacher and Sport Böckmann. Together, they help share the story of this extraordinary team and strengthen senior football in Germany and beyond.
